The pharmacists or nurse who gives these vaccinations are fully qualified in vaccine administration. To make things even easier, SAMBA now offers expanded coverage of your pharmacy benefit to include certain vaccines.

You will pay a $0 co-payment for vaccines at retail pharmacies that participate in the Medco network.

Before going to the drugstore, call first to verify that they have the vaccine you need. You should also find out what times the vaccinations are available. If your local pharmacy can administer vaccines, you must present your Medco ID card. The pharmacy will submit the claim to Medco for processing so there is no need to submit a claim to SAMBA.
