SAMBA Health Plan offers benefits to our members and their covered dependents for hearing care services.  Benefits are provided for:

  • Hearing testing
  • Diagnostic examinations
  • Treatment by a licensed hearing professional
  • External hearing aids^

^Benefits for external hearing aids are limited to $500 per hearing aid, per ear, every three calendar years for adults and $1,000 per hearing, per ear, every three calendar years for children up to age 18.

How to Access Your Discounts

Step 1: Call 1-888-304-8539 to locate a Cigna Health contracted provider or http://www.starthearing.com/cigna

Step 2:  Start Hearing will find a provider and schedule a hearing consultation near you.

Step 3:  During your appointment the hearing provider will determine your need for hearing aids.  The provider will help you find the solution that is best for your lifestyle and budget.

Step 4:  Your hearing aids will be ordered and a fitting appointment will be scheduled.

Step 5: Provider will fit your hearing aids and process your payment minus your covered amount where applicable.  Begin your 60-day trial period and schedule follow-up office visits.
